Empowering our women through education and health: - Toilet, the way out

For a casual reader, it would be another page in the "Hindu" dated 30.11.2008. But for me, the caption"The Toilet Revolution" looked somewhat different. I for one don’t want to miss the message relating to society.
Being a voracious reader, I read the article in full and got the notion that India is still a " Taboo" country wherein people seldom talk about sanitation; defecation in open is the law of the land.

Of course if we don’t care for ourselves, who else would? Kudos! To the efforts of the district collector . My bank – city union bank ltd., - is a century old private sector institution, rated among the best "THREE" in all financial parameters prescribed by reserve bank of India.

Our managing director had had interaction with Greame Bank’s Chairman - Mohamed younus and got so inspired that he brought out a road map for rural branches to enlist the population of the surrounding villages (service area approach) with regard to sanitation, education and health.
All data’s are ready now .The pilot project is to be implemented on war footing; so to say that we need feedback and technical know how from D R D A personal and N G O’s of Bishangarh–Haryana about the construction of cheap toilets. In Rural India ,people toil day in and day out but their basic needs are seldom met.
May the authorities concerned be able to provide information to me with regard to contact address of the district rural development agency of Bishangarh – Haryana ?
Fundamentals of Bishangarh are strengthened so that pillars of democracy could be easilily built.
My last intriguing question? Whether toilets of as low as Rs1200 could be built provided there is enough water and electricity.
